We hold a minimum of 4 events per year if two people like each other they are supported to go on dates or mate dates until such time as both people are happy in the new friendship

Living It Up Gr8 Mates is a friendship and dating service for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. We hold a minimum of 4 events a year where participants can get to know each other. There is no similar project in Bedfordshire

Most people take making new friends for granted, but it can be a challenge for someone with Learning Disabilities or Autism as this is often missed out from support plans. Absolutely no-one should be denied the chance of making new friends or maybe meeting that special someone - and Gr8 Mates provides that opportunity.
