As a non-profit mental health and wellbeing organisation, we support everyone, regardless of age, postcode and pride ourselves on being able to offer immediate support. Our expert therapeutic team offer a range of support to meet the needs of those struggling, including mentoring, coaching and counselling. Working from the HAPPY Hub, we are based in the heart of the community, building a positive momentum around mental health and encouraging the whole community to enhance their wellbeing.
Why they need our service
Waiting lists for mental health support services can vary from anything from 6 weeks to 2/3 years. Services can cut off when a child becomes an adult, and the transistion over to adult services isn't always easy. Support is often offered to the main person, but the family can be left not knowing what best to do. This is why we set-up the way we did, to overcome these barriers and give the help where it is needed and wanted.
Plan and expected results
Currently, we work with over 1000 people a month taking them on a journey of hope, purpose, achievement and into flourishing. In the last year, with support from various sources of funding we have grown our therapeutic team and their expertise. Therefore, we have managed to help more people. We have also run more peer to peer services, such as an emergency food bank - taking the pressure off those in financial difficulty.
Please donate a pound or two to help us continue supporting the mental health and wellbeing of out community.
