Christmas is a special time but for those who already suffer from isolation and loneliness, this time of year can be very challenging. Our elderly "Friends" ( clients) really look forward to the Christmas outings where they have a chance to socialise and share some festive fun. For many it is the highlight of their year. Not all "Friends" are able to leave their homes or care homes to enjoy a social event however we can give them a gift of festive cheer. Join us in our "Hamper Happiness" project.  We'd like to deliver a Christmas Hamper filled with local festive fayre. Receiving a hamper would bring great joy. For those with no visitors, this might be the only gift that they receive this Christmas. Our two Missioners and volunteers will deliver these across Darlington to their homes and to care homes.
