60th birthday - it's the BIG one!

Reaching 60 is a big milestone. I was planning to celebrate with parties, holidays and gifts, but the Coronavirus crisis has made me rethink all that. It's more important to contribute to the community. Phoenix Bereavement is my special charity. I became involved because I know from personal experience how important it is to support children & young people when someone close dies. When my brother died before his 40th birthday, leaving 2 teenage children, we struggled as a family and we didn't know where to turn. I am determined that no family should have to face that on their own. Phoenix offers bereavement support, advice, socials and confidence building activities. It costs £600 per family so I would love to raise £600 so that I know that one more family can face their changed future with hope. I want to make sure that no child faces the pain of bereavement on their own. During this Coronavirus crisis we know that more families will need help.
