My younger brother Max tragically passed away a few days before Christmas after a 3 year struggle with mental illness and addiction. He was 24. Before becoming unwell, Max was great fun to be around, with a great sense of humour and everything to live for. Our whole family has been devastated by his loss. In honour of his memory, I'm planning to run the Geneva Marathon on 7th May to raise money for Heads Up, a local charity in Somerset, UK, doing fantastic work to support people suffering with mental health challenges. We've visited the charity and were impressed by the positive impact their work is having on the wellbeing of the community. We'd like this fundraiser to be a step towards helping people like Max access support, activities and friendship. All contributions will be gratefully received by the charity. Please share this page with friends who may wish to help.
