The Balloon Biathlon will take place on Saturday 13th May 2023 in the beautiful Wye Valley to raise funds for the mental health charity I Can & I Am. It consists of a 10 mile mountain bike ride up and around Symonds Yat Rock followed by a 10 mile canoe safari along the River Wye. This will be demanding but hopefully achievable! My contribution to this challenge, along with the other participants, will help to raise funds for I Can & I Am’s second double decker bus which will be used to visit schools to provide a space to work with young people to help tackle some the many mental health challenges faced by so many today. The combination of pizza cooking on the lower deck and workshops on the upper deck has proven invaluable through the work done on board the first bus and therefore the need to spread the messages wider through a second bus is essential.
