Turning 50 this year, I realised that I focus far too much on work, work and more work. I want to add some FUN and CHALLENGE in to my year by doing something different each week - preferably that I've not done before - just for the sake of it. I look forward to doing at least one of these things with my brother Jethro who is a service user of Equal People Mencap Kensington and it would be great if we could do something there with his friends and the service providers. All funds raised will go to support this amazing charity and to raise awareness of the important work that they do.
You're an inspiration Jessica ...well done!
I am so impressed by what you have got up to over the last year, Jessica - especially giving up caffeine, sugar and alcohol! You are an inspiration! I hope you get to see your brother again soon.
At a time where I can't be with my brother Jethro due to social distancing, thank you to all that you do to make sure that he is happy and healthy - you are all amazing. Jessica x
Not much fun, but certainly a challenge and something I've never done before. Spent 6 months without coffee, sugar, alcohol and minimal carbs to improve my physical and mental health! Feeling fab!

About Jessica's 50th birthday FUNdraiser for Equal People Mencap
As I get a bit older, I realise how important it is to enjoy life. I have decided to do 50 FUN things this year - roughly one a week - (at my own expense of course). It could be playing a computer game, or planting a window box - I have no idea yet what I'm going to do - but I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it! Watch this space. All proceeds raised will go to the wonderful services that Equal People Mencap provide and that my lovely brother Jethro enjoys.
