Jill was always generous in her support for good causes. In the weeks before her passing she spoke frequently about her concern for vulnerable members of her local communities in Seaford and Newhaven. It upset her to see young people hanging around with little to do and think of others who will be suffering in these challenging economic times. She talked about wanting to do something to help and took great interest in local groups and her community.
Havens Community Hub is working right along Jill's beloved part of the Sussex coast in towns and villages to support communities. From clubs for older people, to job placements for school leavers to food banks and volunteering schemes. It is just the sort of grassroots community scheme which does not attract the big bucks of the larger well known national charities but whose beneficiaries are very much the people Jill felt compassion for.
We hope friends and family will consider a modest donation to this cause, which supports the less fortunate members of the community that Jill grew to enjoy and love being part of so much.
