I am running the Bath Half Marathon in March to raise money for Bath City Farm. I have been working at the farm for almost a year now and I am amazed at all the awesome events, groups and courses they put on for the local community. So much hard work, thoughtfulness and compassion goes into helping the vulnerable and disadvantaged people that the farm was set up to benefit. It makes a real difference in the local area helping people with their well being, developing skills and fostering a sense of community, as well as being open to the public 24/7 all year round!
It costs a lot to run the farm on a daily basis and to maintain the site for the public's use. They do lots of fundraising events themselves but they also rely heavily on generous donations from the public to keep doing their awesome work!
