Please support me in this 24 hour swimathon to save my local pool from closure. I will be swimming an hour slot along with other swimmers who aim to swim for 24 hours non-stop to raise much needed funds for Jubilee Pool.
As someone who is relatively new to swimming on a regular basis, I would greatly miss this pool if it were to close. I now swim three times a week alongside a variety of people of all ages (one of the first people I spoke to has been swimming at the pool for over 60 years!) It's such a friendly and accepting place to both exercise and relax. Both my fitness and general well-being have improved greatly since I joined at the beginning of Autumn 2021.
As someone who has a chronic pain condition, being able to swim at the Jubilee Pool has been life changing and is continually improving my quality of life.
Please help me to raise much needed funds to ensure people both now and in the future can continue to enjoy this local swimming pool. Thank-you in advance.
