On Sunday 8th December I am going to complete a skydive to raise much needed funds for Jump children's charity. This amazing Warrington based charity was set up in 2004 by my friend's (Christie) mum after Christie's 3 and half year old son Jacob lost his battle and passed away. Jacob loved Girls Aloud and his favourite song was Jump - hence the name of the charity. Their main focus is to work with families and their children who have life limiting illnesses and provide them with an opportunity to capture memories of their child with a professional photographer. These moments are so precious to everyone involved. I can't even imagine how it must feel to lose a child and my heart goes out to any family who has suffered this horrendous loss. Christie, her mum, dad and whole family have gone through a grieving process which has been so painful, but despite this they have created a charity which has such a positive impact on so many. If you feel that you could support them, I would be eternally grateful. I might be completing a sky dive but this is nothing compared to the fear, anxiety and pain that the families go through. Even a small donation will make such a difference in helping the family keep such cherished memories forever.
