In 2017 I travelled to Peru and completed the Inca Trail with no hiking experience whatsoever (to the amusement of our guides).
Now I want to do it again, virtually.
I’ll be running 26.2 miles over the course of four weeks, primarily on a treadmill. This works out roughly at a mile a day which isn’t spectacular however the cause itself is. Carers are particularly vulnerable at this unprecedented time and I feel like working for a charity that represents them isn’t enough.
I’ve only set a target of £100 as I feel the desired amount should reflect the achievement itself. Who knows, maybe I’ll run an actual marathon one day...
