Could you give the gift of a cracking day out for a family in the school holidays this year?

This Easter we'd like to ask for donations towards providing family fun activities for the residents at the refuge.

These activities are meaningful because budgets are tight (income has likely been reduced), families are adjusting to a new dynamic and together are overcoming the traumatic effects of domestic abuse, relocation - changes to their familiar routine and setting, perhaps a change of schools and friends, and often unable to spend holidays with other family members in order to maintain their safety. The holidays can feel a little lonely.

Could you help bring a little joy to the school holidays this Spring?

We usually have around 45 children of all ages in residence at the refuge at any given time, the holidays get especially busy!

£15 for Mum and child to go to a soft play on a rainy day.

£18 for Mum and a child to go to the cinema.

£20 a trip to the farm for a Mum, child and a baby.

We would be very grateful for your help to help families to rebuild, make new memories and move forward. These holiday adventures make all the difference to a family living at the refuge.
