Milton Keynes has recently been named the homeless youth capital of the UK.
On Friday 8th March I will be taking part in YMCA MK’s Sleep Easy, sleeping rough in Central MK to experience for one night what young homeless people experience every day.
The event will support local, homeless young people and help raise awareness of the homelessness crisis in Milton Keynes.
Funds raised will go towards YMCA MK’s new campus that is due to open in September 2019. This will be a community hub for local young people and will provide accommodation, well-being and support services.
