I'm running 10k in the ABP Southampton Marathon Festival again this year for the CLEAR Project.

CLEAR supports refugees and people seeking safety in Southampton. They offer ESOL courses leading to qualifications that help people find jobs, become part of the community and rebuild their lives. They also provide advice on topics including immigration, benefits, housing and employment. They've been doing this for the last 25 years. I'm proud that they are now also my employer!

CLEAR works closely with Southampton and Winchester Visitors Group (SWVG), the refugee charity with whom I've volunteered for the last four years. They support many of the same people, delivering their services with respect, empathy and humanity. I've seen for myself the huge difference this makes to people in a time of crisis.
