I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon for the fabulous local charity Under the Stars headed up by my good friend and neighbour Ruth.
Under the Stars empowers and enables people with learning disabilities by developing their individual talent, skills, confidence and independence. Working closely with local artists, musicians, venues, schools, community groups and arts organisations, they give their learners opportunities to share their talents and connect with the community. Under the Stars makes sure that they are seen in places where people with a disability are often hidden.
The money I raise will go towards theatre performances put on in July. Do please give what you can for the fantastic work they do.
