Owen Brooks - Forever 16

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated so far in support of The OB Project and Owen’s dad’s skydive.

The skydive was originally planned for the 26th of July 2025, but due to weather conditions, it had to be postponed. We’re now excited to share that the skydive will take place on Sunday, 31st August.

Not only will Keith be making the jump in honour of Owen — his daughters, Amy and Sophie (Owen’s sisters), will also be joining him!

Tragically, on the 24th of May 2025, everyone’s hearts were shattered and lives were changed forever with the heartbreaking loss of Owen Keith Brooks, at just 16 years old.

Owen was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend — and to all who had the privilege of knowing him, he will never be forgotten.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, a powerful legacy has been created in Owen’s name — THE OB PROJECT. This is a dedicated mental health initiative for boys, offering a safe, supportive space where they are encouraged to open up, share their feelings, and speak without fear of judgement.

As a family, we are incredibly proud to support The OB Project through The Social Action Hub in Rainworth.

The mission of the OB Project is simple but vital:
To break the stigma around mental health.

Let’s continue raising as much as we can to push for better support, awareness, and change — for those who need it most - for our sons, brothers, nephews and grandsons that need it most.
