Pendle Hill is often referred to as 'Lancashire's Uluru' and it isn't hard to see why. Steeped in history and legend with burial remains found on the hill dating back to the Bronze Age, Pendle Hill is probably most famous though for being associated with the Pendle Witch Trials of the seventeenth Century.

Why they need our service

A team of 25 from Advocacy Focus and friends from BNI Diamond Chapter, Preston braved bumping into any remaining witches so close to Halloween when we embarked on the Pendle Hill from Barley walk on Sunday 30th October 2016. We walked over 5 miles albeit at a moderate pace then conquered the 360m ascent to help us reflect on the daily up-hill mountain that our services users often face.
