I love the challenge of walking long distance footpaths and I'm often asked if I'm walking them for charity which I've never done - until now! I've recently linked up again with an old college friend from over 40 years ago and when I saw the amazing care farm he and his wife have established, I thought this was the perfect cause to support, especially when I heard that they need to raise £150,000 for an off grid barn. SO, I'm walking the 630 miles of the South West Coast Path to raise funds for this much needed space at Greave House Farm Trust in North Sheffield. It will be a multi-use area with its own renewable energy source and battery storage.
The care farm has created a safe and caring environment for both people and wildlife. Adults with additional needs and autism are developing life skills and confidence through their work on the land and caring for animals. Local volunteers have also found a place where they can make valuable contributions regardless of their skills and abilities. They are passionate about caring for their local environment and looking at ways to mitigate the wider effects of climate breakdown. Your support will be a lasting legacy to the ongoing work of this valuable community asset.

I'm walking 630 miles to raise funds for Greave House Farm Trust's new off-grid barn. I enjoy the challenge of long distance footpaths and will be setting off on this on in May 2025 but you can make a donation any time.
