Team Fundraisers
On the 4th of June I will be attempting to complete the Grafman- a 1/2 ironman at Grafham water. I am doing this in memory of my mum,Viv- who loved a good challenge!
I hope to raise some money for the amazing Red Shed project, based in Stevenage, they are a charity that provide garden based experiences and activities for those living with dementia and their carers. Mum and Dad have been using the charity since 2020 and it has been a great support for them, they met weekly with others in their situation was a great comfort to them. They made new friends, re connected with old friends and learnt new skills along the way.
Mum sadly had a devastaing stroke in September and passed away in November, during this time Su and her team were always there for them and dad has continued to attend each week. I know he greatly appreciates the support and care that they have shown him through this difficult time.
I will be swimming, cycling and running the 70.3 miles to raise some money for this amazing charity, I hope that you can support them by donating. Thank you.
