I am running the London Marathon on the 23rd of April which is pretty terrifying! But I am keeping in mind throughout the training that I am fundraising for a fantastic charity. A charity which I have seen make a real impact to the lives of many, including that of my sister, Emma!
Freewheelers is an inclusive arts company where artistic excellence goes hand in hand with learning and personal growth. For over thirty years Freewheelers has been a force for change and artistic excellence in the world of Disability Arts. Freewheelers provides a place for disabled people to go and explore the arts; it gives members' confidence, independence, social skills and self expression.
Freewheelers is, simply, wonderful! Emma has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and through Freewheelers she’s been able to explore her acting, dancing and artistic skills. Emma has built a community at Freewheelers and I’ve seen the incredible productions and art shows that they have produced. Huge thanks to the visionaries, the staff and Emma’s pals that make Freewheelers what it is.
Please consider sponsoring me. Thanks :)
