Jubilee Pool is a beautiful art deco swimming pool that provides us with a little slice of aquamarine coloured relief every Friday after school. We walk there in minutes for a playful swim with friends. If we were faced with driving to a bigger facility we wouldn't manage it. Jubliee was a lifeline during lockdowns, it's a valued local resource we want to keep. The council have been trying to shut it for years because the land has become so valuable for property development. We want to support the Friends of Jubilee Pool to raise the funds they need to take it over as a community run swimming pool and place it in the hands of those who value it. The swimathon is a 24 hour swim. We are swimming for one hour and our team is Noah, Eli, Ted, Hannah and Rowena.
