Welcome to my fundraising page!
I did a tandem skydive on Wednesday 21st August 2019 to raise much needed funds for the Volunteer Centre Croydon, which is where I work part-time now on the Appropriate Adult Volunteer Project and have nearly reached 1500 Volunteering hours over 3 years.
It was a fantastic and exhilarating experience, and I’m so grateful for all the generous support I’ve received so far - thank you! If you still haven’t had a chance to contribute, any donation, large or small, will be heartwarmingly received.
The Volunteer Centre Croydon is part of Croydon Voluntary Action, a charity whose mission statement is: "Promoting, supporting and developing effective voluntary action, development and activity for the benefit of the whole community within the London Borough of Croydon”.
The Volunteer Centre, in Centrale Shopping Mall, works with over 700 local charities providing support and expertise in matching people from 12 to 112 who wish to volunteer, and make a positive difference. At present there are over 380 volunteer roles available in Croydon, including administration roles and specific projects run from the office itself. Volunteering helps people gain further skills, confidence and self worth, often with the aim of getting paid work.
Your generous donation will ensure that the Volunteer Centre continues to make a positive impact and improve the lives of everyone within the Croydon community.

100% of all donations will be benefiting CVA's Volunteer Centre Croydon as I paid for the skydive myself.
