Spectrum: The Hub is a project to bring the former Heanor Methodist Church back into use as a community centre for the benefit of the residents of Heanor. We have two halls which are available for private hire by the hour for activities, events and parties.
We are also using part of the church as a warm space for people who cannot afford to heat their homes during the winter to come and keep warm during the day, enjoy a free hot drink and biscuits and socialise with other people from the local community.  We are seeking donations to help pay for our utility bills to provide this free service, and to provide 'warm packs' for users, which would consist of blankets and warm clothes for those who can't afford them.
