WAVES is an Additional Needs Support Group, run by a group of dedicated volunteers who are all parents of children with "Additional Needs." We are based at Bilton Hall CIO, Taunton Avenue in Jarrow, South Tyneside.We offer a wide range of activities to help build and promote social, emotional and physical skills among our children and young adults, as well as friendship, advice and support to parents and carer's.

About Sunderland Half Marathon
A course that runs on both sides of the River Wear. The opening section runs from the centre out towards Grangetown before heading back to the city centre, across the river and out towards Roker Park before returning again to finish near to the start point. Each runner receives a technical tee-shirt, a finisher's medal and a goody bag. The race is chip timed.
