The Dusty Forge is the warm heart of Ely and Caerau. This winter we are welcoming our community to a warm, safe and vibrant space where people can have a cup of tea, make friends, get support and find out about local projects / services.

Every week at the Dusty Forge you can find...

• Social clubs including gardening, arts, knitting, coffee mornings

• Souper Tuesdays - free weekly community lunch

• Urgent food and fuel support through the Crisis Hour 3 times a week

For many people, coming to meet friends at the Dusty Forge is the only social interaction they can count on each week. ACE supports and hosts long-standing community groups that are vital for the wellbeing of dozens of local people.

Most of the funding ACE receives is for specific activities, and we run over 25 projects at a time. But the ongoing warm welcome and support we provide at the Dusty Forge is hard to fund, so we are asking for your help.

Our energy bills have doubled and it costs a lot to keep the heating and lights on and run the community kitchen. Your support can help us keep going and if we raise enough we will be able to offer more regular free community meals.
