This summer The Comfrey Project celebrated it's 21st birthday.... this is our big birthday wish!
We are fundraising to buy a garden shredder, to help us with our goal of making our garden greener!
We would use a garden shredder to process woody shrubs. Adding shredded wood to our compost heap would improve the quality of our compost and improve the health of our soil... and having healthy soil is really important for growing fruits, vegetables and flowers!
Being able to make more of our own high-quality compost will also help us to reduce our carbon footprint, as we will not need to buy-in compost, that is often packaged in plastic.
We are very mindful that now is a difficult time financially for many, we are very grateful for any contribution, however we ask that you only donate to this fundraiser if you are able to!
