The Bothie is a community facility in the heart of Kintore, providing young people with a safe, fun, warm space to go to. All youth groups, activities, day and weekend trips free of charge to all young people who attend.

All of our youth groups have access to general youth club activities; game consoles, arts and crafts and pool tournaments but as the session’s develop over the course of the term, a lot of issues are brought up and so workshops on these issues are planned and delivered so that the young people are better equipped with how to deal with certain situations and pressures and how manage their lives better. Advice and support is also available to all young people to ensure that they are able to deal with life situations better and to be mature individuals.

We are taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk, 18 mile Mighty Stride, to fund raise and ensure all of our projects and trips continue to be free for the young people of Kintore and surrounding areas. Monies raised will also go towards taking the young people out on day trips over the summer holidays!
