Being a parent and Auntie of some gifted children who have amazing talent I thought it would be great to get involved in the firewalk to raise funds for Parenting Special Children. When my daughter was diagnosed as being on the Autistic Spectrum some 20 years ago I would have loved to have had access to such support as we faced many challenges through the years. I am very proud to say she has recently become a mum herself and is an inspiration to me daily. She is not afraid to explain her condition to people and will speak opening about her experiences as an autistic person. Raising funds for this charity is an honour and it will allow families and children to obtain access to the support that they need to help them reach their full potential in life. So if you are able to make a donation no matter how small it will make a big difference to so many people.
