The I Can & I Am Triathlon-4-All will take place on Saturday May 17th and will consist of cycling, kayaking and running. Each event will start and end at the Dundas Aquaduct in Bath, BA2 7JD.
BIKE: We begin with a cycle ride on the Two Tunnels cycle path in Bath and then out towards Bristol on the Bristol Bath Railway path.
KAYAK: We will reconvene at the Dundas Aquaduct for lunch (we ask everyone to bring their own) before embarking on our kayak adventure, heading off East on the canal towards the Avoncliffe Aquaduct and back.
RUN / WALK: We reconvene once again before finishing with a run or walk in the other direction along the canal towards Bath.
The focus of the day is to include as many people as possible of ALL abilities. This is a chance to take on something new but at a level that seems achievable. Each activity can be scaled up and down to suit the participant.
I Can & I Am works with many thousands of young people every year within primary, secondary and SEN schools as well as whilst in Further Education. Through our presentations from James Shone and workshops on board our travelling double decker buses, the messages of I Can & I Am are increasingly becoming a part of the day-to-day conversation about how to maintain self-belief and learn the fundamentals of resilience. All work within the state sector is delivered free of charge so your donations are very valued.
