I’m extremely honoured that I won the chance to represent my beloved running club, Kippax Harriers at the 2026 London Marathon.

So, on 26th April I’ll be proudly donning my club vest and hitting the streets of London with thousands of others. I was very lucky to get this place and want to make the most of the opportunity to do good with it. So I’m wanted to use the opportunity to raise some much needed funds for a local charity, Leeds Women’s Aid, who protect and support thousands of women and children in Leeds from domestic violence and abuse each year.

Much as I love running, training has been tough so far, due to the horrible weather. So far in 2026 I’ve clocked up 310 miles of marathon training and I’d estimate about 250 of those have been wet, windy, cold runs!
