About us
Leeds Women's Aid has been working for over 50 years to support women & children to live in safety, free from Domestic Violence & Abuse. We provide a range of the very best services for vulnerable women and families who are victims and survivors of: domestic, sexual & honour based violence and abuse; forced marriage; trafficking; stalking and harassment.

Why the community needs us
Anyone can experience domestic violence regardless of race, ethnic or religious group, class, disability or lifestyle. Domestic violence and abuse can include physical and sexual assault as well as emotional and financial abuse and control. By providing support to people affected by domestic violence and abuse we enable them to free themselves from dangerous situations, and remain free to live their lives safely.

Our impact on the community
We help and support hundreds of women and families each year. The aim of our work is to give women and families affected by domestic violence and abuse the confidence and strength to move onto safe independent living, improve their life chances and provide them with the best possible chance of living a life free from domestic violence and abuse.
