So I didn't think I would ever do this again, but here I am tying up the laces on my running shoes and preparing for the Windsor 10k. There's only one charity in the world I would do this for and that's the charity that I have been dedicated to for 9 and a half years.
As some of you may know, I had a terrible accident in August 2023 where I lacerated my patella tendon. Following an initial operation, I was released before an infection to the wound meant that I was rushed back in for further surgery. The recovery has been long and at times arduous. I am so glad to be able to say that I am now starting to push my physical capabilities again, enjoy long hikes, the odd spin session and a few jogs around the block. My sincere hope is that the Windsor 10k will be a great excuse to fully celebrate moving on from that event & to do it for the charity I love, is the icing on the cake.
So why SAFE!?
