Further greening of one of our greyest streets!

Three street trees have already been planted on Woodhead Road last winter. A further nine street trees are guaranteed to be planted on Woodhead Road this coming winter.

However, we now have an unexpected opportunity to plant a further six street trees. This would take us to 18 street trees on Woodhead Road, where previously there were none!

This new opportunity is all thanks to Grant funding from the South Yorkshire Mayor's "Tree for Everyone" initiative.

The Grant funding pays for 50% of the six further trees. We need to Crowd Fund £2200 to pay for the other 50%.
