Between 14 & 15 June I'm attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest single-event triathlon. The current record is 407.4km and I'm hoping to go a fair bit further. Sounds easy, right? One caveat - if I pause for longer than 5 minutes without covering any distance, the attempt ends.

I'll be doing this to raise money for New-Leaf Learning again. New Leaf Learning offer a nature-based, connection-focused provision for children who are not currently engaging in learning in mainstream schools. They guide parents/carers and school staff in how to create safe spaces so that children can thrive. They are a unique resource and offer the opportunity for users to engage in a variety of activities in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Their purpose is to promote the education and development of primary school-aged children with learning differences by providing outdoor-based education and resources for primary school-aged children - including my eldest son!

I believe that this nature-based, connection-focused provision should be as standard.
