ABOB Cornwall Rites of Passage Weekend April 2018
Quest for Community - a rites of passage weekend for both young and older men. Young Men Conceived as contemporary rites of passage for young men making the transition from boyhood to manhood, Quest for Community is a 2- day residential workshop primarily encouraging a search for meaning, hope and compassion that seeks to provoke questions of identity and sense of purpose. Previous rites of passage weekends for young men have led to: 80% reduction in re-offending 75% of those unemployed find work 90% report being better parents 50,000 hours contributed (so far!) A saving to taxpayers of £25,000 per man who completes our programme So far, ABOB has helped 228 men - now it's here in Cornwall! £6874 sponsors the entire Quest for Community £982 sponsors 1 young man £489 pays for the food on the weekend Older Men If you will be attending, then the suggested donation is £200. If you're not attending but would like to support us in this work, then any amount is welcome :)
