Jubilee Swimming Pool in Knowle, Bristol, is under threat from closure by Bristol City Council.
The Friends of Jubilee Pool are a group of volunteers who want to save the pool for future generations by bringing it into community ownership. I want to do my bit by helping to raise valuable funds to support their efforts. On 29 and 30 January they are hosting a 24 hour swim-a-thon at the pool and I'll be swimming for an hour as part of the continuous 24 hour swim.
