Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro - Bristol Refugee Rights
Hello I'm climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in October... At 5895 metres, Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa. My motivations for climbing are, on the whole, personal — what can I say I just can't resist the allure of altitude sickness and sub-zero temperatures. But, I’m also raising money for a brilliant charity I know well, Bristol Refugee Rights. Bristol Refugee Rights provides support, advice and a welcoming space for new refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol, many of whom have fled from conflict, violence and discrimination in their home countries. During my time volunteering there I saw first hand the critical role this charity plays - not just supporting people at desperate times, but also empowering people to be part of the wider community. Donating to a small local charity like this means as little as £5 can make a real difference. So please do join me in raising money for an important cause. I might even take a photo or two if I reach the target. Thank you!
Awesome adventure, enjoy every minute - and what a fab charity to support at the same time!
