Hi, we are Anvi and Vian- the inseparable twins :)
We are both 8 years old and are going to fundraise for the wonderful charity Imara by running the Robin Hood mini marathon .
In school, we are taught above the PANTS rule and that our privates are our privates and no one should ask to see or touch them.
Sadly, some adults do not follow this rule and they hurt children. When children are hurt, they need support and time to heal. Imara has specialists who can help children. We want all children who have been hurt to receive the right help and support so they can heal and feel safe and live happily.
Imara offer a range of specialist support including creative therapies like art, dance and movement, and music, as well as a CHISVA service to support children and their safe families and carers through the criminal justice system.
We hope to raise as much money as possible to help Imara provide these vital services to those recovering from their trauma. Please donate to support our mini marathon for Imara! We are training regularly to build our stamina so we can run fast and steady. We are amateur runners but are determined to work hard and complete the race. Every donation helps and we really hope you can support us in our fundraising journey. We will post regular updates about our training on this link 😀
