Set in the rolling hills of the Chilterns the challenge is to transport The World's First Off Road Throne across five miles of hilly, rocky and muddy countryside, complete with stiles! We'll be crowning all our trainees King and Queen for the day and invite you to join us as we commend the hard work and commitment to change shown by all Aspire trainees. Transforming a life scarred by homelessness, addiction, crime, family breakdown and dependency on welfare benefits into one shaped by recovery, work, responsibility and respect is a tremendous achievement for trainees, their families and the whole community. All money raised will go towards our running costs, from work boots to van MOTs to electricity bills. We need to raise over £225,000 each year to stay operational. Aspire saves the national and local government over a million pounds each year in benefits and associated costs as every trainee moving into paid work is signing off benefits and putting back into society. Its not all about money though - you can't put a price on self confidence, families getting back together, dignity and pride.
