I met Jo Popham last year during some business networking events, and was completely blown away by her passion and drive to help people effected by renal disease, in memory of her late father Paul Popham.
The aim of The Paul Popham Fund Renal Support Wales, is to improve the quality of life of Renal Patients in Wales. Achieved by working with Units and Centres that treat and specialise in Renal Care in Wales to purchase items that will directly benefit the Renal Patient’s quality of life. This aim will also be achieved by working with and developing initiatives that will help improve the Renal Patients health, well-being and welfare.
Although I've enjoyed running on my own over the years, I began running with the Paul Popham Running Club earlier this year and with the support of the running club leaders, and Jo, have decided to give back, and run the Swansea Half Marathon with them whilst fundraising for such a worthy cause.
So give what you can, and support me on my journey for such a great charity.
I'll appreciate every single penny, and love you forever.
