Popham Kidney Support provides support services, information, facilities, welfare and wellbeing projects, to support kidney patients to lead a better quality of life.
Why the community needs us
Our Peer Mentor Service supports Kidney Patients by connecting them with fellow kidney patients. Our Peer Mentors have crucial lived-experience of kidney disease and provide information, advice and support to anyone living with kidney disease, including partners, carers, parents & families.
Our Children's activity days help to support children with kidney disease and their families, and help them connect with others who are experiencing similar situations. These activities empower patients and families to help them manage living with kidney disease and continue to lead a full and active life.
Through our welfare support we ensure that all Kidney Patients in South Wales can lead a better quality of life with the resources available to them.
Our impact on the community
Kidney Patients and their families are empowered to believe in themselves and recognise that kidney disease does not have to prevent them from leading the life they want.
