This year I have decided to run the Robin Hood half marathon 2024 in aid of Imara!
Imara is a local children's charity based in Nottinghamshire who have supported children, young people and families affected by child sexual abuse and domestic abuse since 2010. They offer a range of specialist support including creative therapies like art, dance and movement, and music, as well as a CHISVA service to support children and their safe families and carers through the criminal justice process.
Imara are proud to be child-centred, responsive and accessible. Having harboured strong partnerships with other charities and organisations across the region, Imara is able to better support clients whilst delivering and advocating for gold standard trauma responsive support in all settings througout Nottingham.
I hope to raise as much money as possible to help Imara provide these vital services to those recovering from trauma in Nottingham. Please donate to support my half marathon for Imara!
