Ben's Summer Skydive

Hi everyone!! I will be taking part in a tandem skydive! The jump will be at Hinton Airfield at the end of June/beginning of July. I will be jumping from 13,300ft and falling at speeds of over 120mph! I will be doing all this to raise money for a local youth charity called WAYC. WAYC for those who are new to the charity has for the past 60 years inspired young people across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. They work directly with vulnerable young people specifically those diagnosed with mental health illnesses and those for whom it's no longer safe to live at home (living in care). They employ a team of professionally qualified youth workers who meet young people where they are at and use specialist projects which are fun, entertaining and informative, and one-to-one focused support to inspire young people to overcome the barriers and challenges they are facing and succeed in every aspect of life Last year WAYC worked directly with 595 young people. As well as this they continue to support local youth projects and youth workers. Last year they raised £120,000 for local youth projects and trained over 1000 volunteers.
