Beth, Stroydy and Glyn are doing the 8.5mile course of the Great Midlands Fun Run in aid of Our Place.
Our Place is a community hub providing a range of advice and support services for individuals and families within the Sutton Coldfield, Kingstanding and Erdington areas.
The Hub provides support to children and families through it's mentoring scheme on a range of emotional, social and behavioural issues including low self-esteem, living with domestic violence, mental health, anxiety, anger, stress, alcohol/substance misuse, living in foster care, trauma, parents in prison, family breakdown, bereavement and abuse.
Our Place Community Hub also offer services which provide employment support for job seekers and advice to individuals on issues including benefits, legal issues and support for carers.
Due to vital government funding cuts across social care the number of individual accessing Our Place support has increased dramatically - as a result they need to raise as much money as possible to meet these demands.
Our Place relies heavily on the kindness of those in the community to raise funds to provide such services so any contribution to the cause would be very much appreciated!
