The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountain in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours. A team of 8 Bovill staff will be leaving London on Friday afternoon to start ascending Snowdon (1085m above sea level) at 6pm. Second in the challenge is Scafell Pike in the Lake District (978m) arguably the hardest of all. The third and final peak is Ben Nevis in Scotland, with an elevation of 1344m and we aim to complete the ascent and descent by 6pm on Saturday.
Why they need our serviceAs a business based in Southwark, Bovill believe it is important to give something back to our local community. This weekend a team from Bovill are attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge to support care leavers in Southwark and Lewisham.
Plan and expected resultsIn attempting this challenge Bovill are aiming to raise funds for Young Futures to help them build a bespoke 24hr unit for vulnerable female care leavers which will provide a training flat experience with 24hr support and opportunities to practice life and self-care skills.
