Bow Foodbank is a local Tower Hamlets charity that provide emergency food supplies to those who are in crisis due to financial difficulties. They operate two foodbanks, one in Bow and the other in Bethnal Green.
Exiger have reserved 12 volunteering slots where members of the London team will be serving guests and organising stock at the Bethnal Green foodbank on Wednesday 24th May, in the afternoon.
Any donations which people are able to make, will be very gratefully received by the charity.
To give you an idea of what a donation can provide:
- £5 would provide a children’s food bag.
- £15 would pay for one family with children to have emergency food supplies for a week.
- £50 can help fill 10 bags with essential items such as toothpaste, washing powder, cooking oil, milk, rice, fruit, and vegetables.
