Breakthrough 12hr Relay Cycle

Breakthrough's staff and service-users are going to be taking on a 12hr relay cycle live from the Breakthrough Support Centre to raise funds for their crisis support services!

We'll be cycling through the day 8:15am on 29th April to 8:15pm in 45min blocks (with some taking on multiple stints!) to help us raise funds to continue our work with survivors of trauma and abuse.

Breakthrough work with the 1 in 5 of us who experience trauma (child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, accidents and displacement) in our lifetime.
They provide therapy, wellbeing and support services, art groups, befriending, courses and a 24/7 crisis helpline for survivors, as well as training people in how to support people who are struggling with their mental health.
When COVID hit, Breakthrough saw a 500% increase in referrals and a 300% increase in crisis calls, to keep up, the team started working full time volunteering their time to keep the charity running and meet the need.

£5 helps us answer a crisis call 
£25 pays for a 2hr therapy group session for a survivor
£50 covers the costs of an assessment & care plan for a new referral OR runs our Thursday evening drop-in night
£175 runs a therapy group for 12 people for 1 session
£300 funds a 6-week set of therapy sessions for someone in crisis
