Hello, my name is Brent Johnston and I firstly would like to thank you for visiting my local giving page.
The reason I have set this page up is to raise money for the YMCA here in my home town of Milton Keynes, unfortunately we have a homeless crisis in MK and it's only getting worse.
More people now live on the streets, on someone's sofa and in the cold than ever before and it's time that we as a community give something back. Therefore I am spending 12 hours from 7pm to 7am on Friday April 22nd to Saturday April 23rd, sleeping in the cold, outside, to raise money in the hope that we may help provide more accomodations to get people off the streets, in essence to sleep rough for one night so that others don't have to EVERY night.
This however is where I need your help, I can't raise the money myself and I can't raise awareness on my own but I can with YOUR help. So I ask you to please donate what ever you can and to share this page with all that you can.
Maybe just maybe we can raise enough money to get people off of the streets and into a warm bed just like the ones we crawl into at night.
