We are all missing social contact during this Covid-19 outbreak which is why Vox in Frox have joined together virtually with Bristol Brass Consort, the pianist Claire Alsop and sound editor / picture editor Adam Palmer to make this video.

But imagine what it would be like if you had just had a baby in this time of drastically-reduced social contact.

And then imagine that on top of that you are feeling low. Who do you turn to?

Since 1981 Mothers for Mothers has supported families affected by maternal mental illness across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.  They offer support to women during pregnancy and until their youngest child attends school, from illness to wellness, through their support services.

Mothers for Mothers are still open during this crisis.  The helpline remains open 10am to 9 pm Monday to Friday on 0117 935 9366.  Support calls are available Monday to Thursday.  Calls are also available with a member of the Peer Support team  / Home Visiting team.  They have a zoom peer support group on Tuesdays at 11am.  Details can be found in the client closed Facebook group.  They are posting daily in that group and have ideas for activities, crafts, self care and a bedtime story every evening at approximately 6.30 pm.

If you have enjoyed our video please help Mothers for Mothers continue this vital work and donate using this local giving page.
